The door is the puzzle
Mammon is The Miser, in Mammon's Lair. Listed health is 8,000 and experience is 1,000. The Gate of Flesh opens when the Thrilling, Trembling, and Oozing Eyes are equipped under Relics. Thrilling Eye is under the Paris Hospital. Trembling Eye is in the Pillaged Tombs. Oozing Eye is on a high platform in the Circle of Greed, at a red device in a thorn circle. The prompt is R1 or E.
The walk in is Ferryman's Wharf, Collapsed Path of Orpheus, Realm of Old Night, Antechamber of Sin, then the Circle of Greed. Swap off the eyes for combat relics before you step into the arena.
The fight, only where sources agree
Phase two starts at 50 percent, with a gold cloud, and slide is locked for about four seconds. Weaknesses cited are bleed and burn. Immunities cited are freeze, petrify, and Chains of Justice. Moves described across the boss table and the eye guide are a ground roll, a cross beam, a floating wheel, an eight-way star, bouncing rocks, and an X-shaped beam. A page that mislabeled the game as a different title is not used for damage numbers.
What I ran into
I equipped the eyes, opened the door, and then fought him with three key items still in the relic slots. The reminder to swap back is here because I lost the first attempt to my own inventory.
