Seven families, four tiers

Fextralife and IGN both describe 28 weapons: seven types and four tiers, Ordinary, Refined, Masterpiece, and Legendary. A 49-weapon count in one article does not match that grid, and this site does not use it. IGN's base values (25, then 50) and Fextralife's per-weapon attack numbers are different systems. Until they are reconciled on a single build, this page does not print attack figures.

Whips run Whip, Thorn Whip, Morning Star, Vampire Killer. One-handed swords run Longsword, Bastard Sword, Joyeuse, Valmanway. Two-handed swords run Burnt Sword of Fierbois, Claymore, Durandal, Excalibur. Dual blades run a pair of longswords, rapiers, Almace and Hauteclaire, then War and Famine. Spears run Lance, Halberd, Gungnir, Chauve-Souris. Fists run Cestus, Jewel Knuckles, Fists of Talos, Bernhard's Wrath. The shield line includes Alucard's Sword and Shield at the top.

Locations that are safe to repeat

Burnt Sword of Fierbois comes from The Warrior. Valmanway comes from Saint Louis. Durandal is in Lisa's Laboratory. Excalibur comes from Arthur. War and Famine comes from the fourth organ melody. Vampire Killer is the whip you are building toward, and its flame effect matters against The Temptress. Several IGN rows are still marked TBA for a room. Those rows stay blank here rather than receiving a guessed chest.

What I ran into

I started a spreadsheet of attack values and threw it out when Excalibur could not be both 44 and 100. The families and the named drops survived. The numbers did not.
