Map of the nine regions
Nine regions, counted once
Fextralife's map tool lists nine regions and 837 markers. This page uses the counts and the region names. It does not copy their pin coordinates. GameRant has said eight zones; the nine-name list is the one that can be enumerated, so that is the list below.
The regions are Paris Streets, Holy Innocents' Cemetery, Catacombs of Paris, Notre-Dame, Main Hall, Library, Clock Tower, Hall of Mirrors, and Master's Quarters. Marker totals they publish: 34 Mirrors of Life, 9 Ferryman's Wharves, 18 boss markers, 28 weapons, 41 relics on the map, 14 arcana markers, 24 Brave Hearts, 24 Wise Hearts, 14 attack books, 14 defense books, 39 clues, 5 key items, 147 experience statues, and 257 secret passages.
How to use the area pages
Each area page names the sub-zones and the bosses that the sources actually place there. A blank coordinate is left blank. Fast travel is two systems: Ferryman wharves between regions, and Mirrors of Life inside a region once you have found them. The fast-travel guide explains the icons we can describe without a legend screenshot.
- 34 mirrors is the working total, split on the fast-travel page.
- Map markers for arcana are 14. The card list is 15 because the starting card, The Cursed, is not a map pin.
What I ran into
I opened the map tool for the counts and closed it before tracing pins. Copying 837 markers would have been someone else's work, and it would also have been wrong the moment a pin moved. Region pages are as far as the named rooms go.
Questions
How many areas are there?
Nine, using the Fextralife region list. Some articles say eight. Both numbers are cited on this page so the disagreement is visible.
Where is the interactive pin map?
This site does not republish another wiki's pins. Use the area pages for named rooms, then confirm on your own map.
