Where it runs

Konami sells Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows. Windows includes Steam and Xbox on PC. Xbox's store lists 4K, 60fps or higher, and Play Anywhere. PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC target 60 frames per second. The native Switch build targets 30.

There is no PlayStation 4 version, no Mac version, and no Linux version. There is no native Nintendo Switch 2 edition. The Switch cartridge runs on Switch 2 by compatibility. That case has its own page because the search is large and the answer is easy to overstate.

Pick a detail page

Frame rate and install size for Switch, the DualSense note for PS5, PC requirements, the Xbox purchase versus Game Pass, and the Steam Deck UI bug are split so this page stays a table of contents with the hard nos.

  • Switch: 30fps native, 4 GB standard install.
  • PS5: 60fps, 8 GB standard install.
  • Xbox: purchase required even for cloud.
  • PC: Windows 11 64-bit, 16 GB RAM, GTX 1650 minimum.

What I ran into

The platform page is where rumor goes to die. I wrote the nos in the same paragraph as the yeses so a screenshot of the page cannot drop the Switch 2 line.
