Editions
Standard and Midnight Edition
Two prices
Standard edition is $29.99 and contains the game. Midnight Edition is $39.99. Konami includes the game, a Digital Sound and Art Gallery with more than 100 images and 71 tracks, and three in-game items: a Trevor costume, a Sypha costume, and the Family's Grace relic. The relic's combat effect is not on the product page.
Early purchases, including preorders, receive the Alucard Style Costume. Physical editions have to download it. There is no official Deluxe Edition and no official Collector's Edition. Searches for those names are this comparison, plus a no.
What changes on Switch
Install size grows with Midnight: 10 GB instead of 8 GB on the larger platforms, and 6 GB instead of 4 GB on Switch. The platforms and the physical retailers are the same families of storefronts. Steelbooks are not part of Konami's edition list.
What I ran into
I priced both editions from Konami, Steam, and Xbox on the same day so a sale on one store could not become 'the' price. $29.99 and $39.99 matched. If a store discounts later, the product page is the check, and the date on this article is the date of the match.
