Release
Release date
15 October 2026
Konami, the Xbox store, Metacritic, and Wikipedia all use 15 October 2026. The game is out. Steam's app details API returns 14 October 2026. That is the store time zone, not a second official date. This site does not treat 14 October as a different launch.
Konami announced the demo in material dated around 20 September 2026, ahead of launch. The preorder and early-purchase bonus is the Alucard Style Costume. Physical copies download that costume separately.
Unlock clocks
Searches ask what time the game unlocked on Steam in the UK and elsewhere. Konami did not publish a per-region clock. I will not invent midnight-local or 10 a.m. Eastern. If a store page showed a countdown, that countdown was the authority for that store. It is over now. The download page has the current store links.
What I ran into
I had both dates in two browser tabs and almost printed them as a conflict. The API date is a time-zone display. Writing that in the first paragraph is the correction, not a mystery.
