Rose Belmont is the player character in the 2026 game, not a character from the Netflix series under another name and not a Game Boy protagonist. She is the daughter of Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades. Sypha dies soon after Rose is born. Trevor trains Rose as a vampire hunter.
