Chapter
Notre-Dame walkthrough
The painting is the door
You do not walk into Notre-Dame from the street. In the Main Hall's Gallery of Eternal Night, use The Artist card with Brauner's Paintbrush on the Notre-Dame painting. Carmilla drops the paintbrush. Brauner drops The Artist.
Three melody sheets are the organ puzzle. Fugue is with a ghost in the Great Organ Room. Sonata is tied to the Sealed Scriptorium and the Stained Glass Gallery. Concerto is at the top of La Flèche. Play them on the Great Organ by jumping the zodiac keys. Each finished melody shuts off a beam.
Death, then the jump
When the three beams are down, Death fights you in the Choir. Listed health is 8,444 and experience is 1,000. The story beat after the fight unlocks double jump, and Rock Paper Shotgun places that moment around 60 percent. A fourth hidden melody, read from candle counts, awards the War and Famine dual blades. I do not have the ten symbols as a verified diagram, so the organ page sends you to the gallery instead of drawing a fake staff.
- You do not have to clear every enemy in the Stained Glass Gallery. The Sonata clue is the requirement.
- Arthur, the Brittle King, is also in the Chapel once the organ work and Feat of Strength line up.
What I ran into
I copied the three melody strings from the Rock Paper Shotgun double-jump article onto the dedicated organ page, and I kept this chapter as the reason you are in the building at all. Splitting 'how do I get in' from 'which keys do I press' is what stopped the two URLs from saying the same thing.
Questions
What do I need before Notre-Dame?
The Builder, The Artist, and The Occultist, plus Brauner's Paintbrush, used on the painting in the Main Hall.
Does this chapter give double jump?
Yes, after the Choir fight with Death, not after the earlier catacomb story fight.
