No published tier list

Nobody I can cite has playtested every weapon at the same level and printed a ranking. This page will not invent S-tier and D-tier. It collects the weapons a source describes as strongest at a specific job, and it says the job.

Excalibur is the top of the two-handed line, and Fextralife's attack column gives it their highest figure. War and Famine, the dual blades from the hidden organ melody, are described with the strongest dual-blade attacks and a flame on the third hit. Alucard's Sword and Shield is the legendary shield weapon, with a blink on the attack and a raised guard if you hold the button. The Vampire Killer's flame is the tool the Temptress notes recommend for telling the real body. The Lance is the long reach the cemetery chapter suggests for Medusa.

Same tier, different moves

IGN says weapons of the same tier share a base value, so the pick inside a tier is the moveset. That is the decision this page can support. A personal ranking after timed tests would be labeled as a test, and that test has not been run.

What I ran into

A tier list would have been faster to write and worse to defend. I kept the five weapons a source actually praises, and I attached the praise to the situation. If you want a letter grade, it is not on this page.

Questions

What is the strongest weapon?

Excalibur is the top of the published two-handed line. Other weapons win specific fights. There is no single tested ranking.

Do same-tier weapons differ in base attack?

IGN says they do not. The difference is the moveset. A second wiki's attack column uses another scale and is not mixed in here.
