How to beat Carmilla
Observatory rules
This is the Carmilla of the 2026 game, in the Library Observatory, not a series recap. Listed health is 4,500 and experience is 850. An eight-point star counts your hits. Eight hits and she can be executed. Destroy the large skulls on both sides first. Dawn M. Bennett voices her.
Blood pillars telegraph before they rise. In phase two the blood waves come from the sides; the published safe spot is the middle, then jump. ScreenRant's fight notes are the source for that positioning.
Why the drop matters more than the kill
Rewards are Aerial Rush, Blood Spikes, Brauner's Paintbrush, and The Occultist card. The paintbrush is what you use on the Notre-Dame painting, together with The Artist card from Brauner. Skipping the reward text is how people clear the library and then stare at a painting.
What I ran into
I treated her as a health bar until I read the paintbrush line twice. The second time I wrote it into the Notre-Dame requirements, because the castle route makes no sense without that item.
