Through the graves

The IGN cemetery chapter goes Cemetery Entrance, Cloister, then Sepulcher of the Knight. New threats on that stretch are headless skeletons, chandeliers, and Medusa heads. Named pickups along the route include Abyssal Eye, Nightshade, and the Lance.

The Prophetess is Medusa, fought in the Ossuary of the Innocents. Listed health is 1,500 and experience is 500. Her gaze petrifies if you face it; turning away is the published answer. A tail sweep, a rage at about 70 percent with falling rocks for cover, and full-arena petrify pulses near 50 and 25 percent are the phase notes.

The third key

The reward is Petrifying Gaze and The Prophetess's Key. With The Fallen's key and The Warrior's key, the Catacombs of Paris are the next required stop. A Spanish-language question about breaking green tombs does not match any mechanic in the sources I used, so it is not written up as a step.

  • Recommended tools from the same chapter: Lance and Holy Cross.
  • Voice: Melique Berger.
  • The Sage's last step is also in this zone, at the Tomb of the Noble Queen, much later.

What I ran into

I kept the combat notes on the Medusa page and used this chapter for the walk in. Reading both and finding the same paragraph twice is how guide sites waste the second URL, so the move list lives in one place.

Questions

Is Medusa the same boss as The Prophetess?

Yes. One fight, in the Ossuary of the Innocents. The Medusa page is the pattern guide. This page is the walk to the door.

How far in is this fight?

It is the third guardian, still in the first half of the game. I do not have a verified percent marker, so I am not printing one.
